What’s happening?
Small “spider” veins are often the first sign of vein problems. They are reddish-purple and appear in the legs and ankles. Family history and increasing age tend to contribute to tendency to develop spider veins.

Treatment
Sclerotherapy can be used to treat spider veins. Sclerotherapy involves using a small needle to inject a solution that treats the vessels. This solution causes irritation of the vein lining, causing the vein to close and be reabsorbed by the body.
Laser Therapy delivers energy to the vessels under the skin while bypassing the skin itself. The laser energy is absorbed by the vessels, also causing them to close and be absorbed by the body. |
